The drilling fluid gas separator (referred to as liquid-gas separator) produced and sold by our company Huichi petro is a special equipment for degassing gas-invaded drilling fluid. The liquid-gas separator can directly feed the fluid from the place where the sprayer is placed, or it can feed the fluid from the throttling manifold to separate the large bubbles. There are still small bubbles in the treated drilling fluid, which can pass through the vibrating screen and then enter the degasser for conventional degassing. It is an ideal solid control equipment in drilling engineering.

Application scope of liquid-gas separator

The liquid-gas separator is used in conjunction with the throttling manifold to separate the free gas from the drilling fluid. It can be used in underbalanced drilling and drilling fluid treatment containing hydrogen sulfide gas. Control of liquid level and pressure of traditional separators.

Working principle:

The gas-invaded drilling fluid of the liquid-gas separator enters the separator from the separator inlet tangent, falls on a series of specially designed internal baffles along the inner wall, collides, increases the exposed surface area, flows downward, creates a turbulent state, and separates the gas from the drilling fluid. The free gas is discharged through the gas outlet on the top of the tank. The exhaust pipe length is determined and equipped on site and led to the site, and the degassed drilling fluid is discharged into the circulation tank.

1. The liquid-gas separator uses bottom drainage to control the working liquid level to ensure a constant liquid level in the separator, while solving the problem of sand accumulation in the tank;

2. A dedicated gas separation channel is set in the liquid-gas separator tank, and the gas is emptied smoothly, which improves the gas treatment effect;

3. The liquid-gas separator combines multiple separation technologies such as centrifugal separation, physical impact separation, and vacuum separation to ensure the gas separation effect;

4. Buffer devices are installed at each corner of the liquid supply pipe of the liquid-gas separator and replaceable impact-resistant baffles are installed. Regular inspections and replacements can be carried out according to wear conditions, extending the service life of the equipment;

5. The anti-sulfur type liquid-gas separator of the liquid-gas separator is manufactured and processed with special materials as a whole, which can completely prevent hydrogen sulfide gas in the gas from damaging the equipment;
